Step 4. The Finish of The Foundation
It is of paramount importance to do it properly, because without it, the grave will not look eye-pleasing but rather dull. The most popular methods of grave decor are covering the grave with decorative chippings (colours and sizes of your choice), gluing granite strips (making mosaics) and gluing granite slabs or tiles. In recent years, covering the foundation with decorative primer has become more and more popular. Based on the individual grave design, our craftsmen create beautiful designs that meet the expectations of our customers.
Step 5. Installation of a Pathway in The Gravesite
A pathway is important for its multiple functions, such as convenience, aesthetics (looks beautiful) and practicality (stops weeds and other plants from growing and protects the monument from getting soiled). Various materials are used for the construction of paths, but the most popular in Lithuania is a finely crafted granite slab. Concrete or clinker pads are typically used around the grave. Experienced craftsmen know that for long-lasting results, pads are laid out in accordance with important laying rules (from how to prepare the foundation to what materials to use for filling spaces between the pads). The finishing stage usually includes the finer elements of decoration – granite slab supports for flowers, granite tiles on the grave, flowerbeds and many more. It is important that the craftsmen do everything with the help of high-quality materials, using the best working methods and taking into account the possible environmental factors and other issues that may surface.
